Chapter History

You have to know where you’ve been to know where you are going. Kappa holds a special place in its heart for Fraternity history, but every chapter of our organization has unique beginnings of its own. Each plays a part in shaping us today. Read more about our chapters’ histories in Kappa's digital archives.

Theta Delta Chapter had its very first Bid Day on February 22nd! We welcomed home dozens of women to Kappa Kappa Gamma, recruited by Kappa alumnae from across the country. As we started out as a chapter, we were all incredibly excited to get to know each other and start something from the ground up. While COVID-19 has thrown a wrench in us being physically together, we have improvised and thrived despite the circumstances! Many of our sisters have been frontline workers in this crisis and we are endlessly proud of what they have given to their communities. We also participated in an initiative led by our Kappa sisters at NYU to raise money for frontline workers and write letters thanking those who have given so much to support everyone during this time.

We are so thrilled for this fall as we keep building as a chapter!
